01

Choose an image

Upload a supported file from your device. No account required.

02

Check the hidden details

Review metadata including GPS, device information, software and timestamps.

03

Download with confidence

Clean or edit the metadata, then save your file. Re-inspect the result before sharing.

⌖

Keep places private

Location tags can reveal where a photo was taken. Inspect and remove them before posting.

◈

Keep the image data

Metadata operations do not recompress your image. Retain color and orientation tags when appearance matters.

✦

Know the limits

Cleaning metadata cannot prove an image’s origin or remove visible or pixel-based watermarks.

GOOD QUESTIONS

A little clarity.

What does the cleaner remove?

It asks ExifTool to remove writable metadata from the supported file: commonly EXIF, IPTC, XMP, GPS, comments and supported provenance records. Rendering tags are kept by default. Some file structures and unsupported metadata may remain; always inspect the downloaded result.

Are my files saved?

Images are uploaded to private server temporary storage for processing. The application removes its working files after the response. A scheduled cleanup catches files left by an interrupted process. Your host may maintain request logs or infrastructure backups; the operator controls those policies.

Will this change image quality?

The cleaner does not recompress pixel data. Removing orientation or color information can change how a viewer displays an image, so the rendering preservation option is enabled by default.

Will this remove AI labels or pass an AI detector?

There is no guarantee. Platforms can use pixels, watermarks and other signals beyond metadata. Text cleanup removes selected Unicode characters and spacing; it does not make text human-written or reliably change AI detection.

Which formats can I use?

View and clean JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF and HEIC. Edit XMP fields in JPEG, PNG, WebP and TIFF. Write GPS coordinates into JPEG or TIFF. ExifTool support varies by the exact file structure; damaged or unsupported files return an error.

Can I clean several images together?

Yes. Select up to five files, within the file-size and 50 MB batch limits, then download the completed files individually or in a ZIP archive. ZIP creation happens in your browser.
